Zero-Waste Potluck

When: Fri., March 9, 6 p.m. 2012

Bring a healthful dish to share at a "zero-waste" potluck for like-minded folks who care about safeguarding food and the environment. At the Sierra Club's San Francisco Bay Chapter office (2530 San Pablo Ave., Berkeley) on Friday, Mar. 9, the potluck precedes a talk by John Beuttler, former conservation director of the California Sportfishing Protection Alliance. Among other topics, Buettler will discuss the fragile state of local ecosystems that once supported thriving populations of steelhead, sturgeon, and striped bass. 6 p.m., $2 suggested donation.
