We Never Came (self-released)
This short but sweet EP is a perfect little taste of what Lila Nelson can do. With a style that blends folk, pop, and indie and a softly lovely voice, Nelson is a classic old-school singer-songwriter in the Joni Mitchell tradition. In a sea of throwaway pop idols it’s nice to see a few real musicians still around.
