In partnership with Bike East Bay, the Oakland Public Library is co-hosting the Women Bike Book Club in 2017—the second year of bringing women and gender nonconforming folks together in social settings to share experiences and resources with each other. Everyone is invited to discuss biking, feminism, and the intersection of the two. We’ll talk about On Bicycles: 50 ways the new bike culture can change your life, by Momentum Magazine editor and creator Amy Walker. Stop by the reference desk at Rockridge or Main to pick up a copy, or read the ebook (for free!) via Hoopla.
