Wine Luau

When: Sat., May 30, 1 p.m. 2009

Who says wine doesn't go with roasted pig and a funky reggae beat? On Saturday, May 30, the spring open house at Dashe Cellars Winery (55 4th St., Oakland) -- founded in 1996 by a married pair of enologists -- is an "Urban Luau," featuring steel drums, tropical decor, and more. Newly released wines up for the tasting include a dry Riesling and a dry rosé. 1 p.m., $25-$30.
