Waterfront Flicks: Ratatouille

When: Thu., Aug. 4 2011

You could while away a warmish East Bay summer day in a darkened movie theater, or you could watch a movie outdoors, on the Market Lawn at Jack London Square (Water and Harrison streets, Oakland). This summer's Waterfront Flicks series features bi-weekly screenings of food-themed films, preceded by a number of movie-related activities. On Thursday, Aug. 4, it's Ratatouille, the animated tale of a rat who aspires to become a big-time chef despite his rodent status. Corresponding with the film's theme are trivia games, a raffle, a ratatouille recipe, and even pet rat adoptions by the Rattie Ratz rescue organization. Movie begins at sundown, free.
