When: Sun., July 30, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 2017
This workshop is an exploration of self-care principles that nurture aliveness, non-judgment, and well-being. Breema, a dynamic, interoceptive practice, will be used as a catalyst for movement towards healing and transformation in the therapeutic relationship. The morning session focuses on somatic exercises practiced individually, in partners, and in groups, and applying Breema's principles of harmony to come to a tangible experience of body-mind connection. The afternoon session will address application of this practice to specific therapeutic contexts. Particular emphasis is placed on the experience of the practitioner, as we learn to care for ourselves in the context of our work.
