Vinkeloe Roughtet, John Bischoff, Unpopular Electronics (feat. Gino Robair), Heartworm

When: Wed., May 20, 8-10 p.m. 2015

Saxophonist, flutist, Biggi Vinkeloe arrives from her home in Sweden to play with a "roughtet" of Bay Area masters. John Bischoff is lauded for his pioneering solo constructions in real-time synthesis and for his development of computer network music. Caught in alligator clips, wrestling like Laoco├Ân in a nest of patchcord cables, it's really the audience ends up ensnared when master percussionist Gino Robair merges with his Serge modular. This performance hails the record release of Heartworm's new album, pried at last from long years in the master's grip, 20 year veteran of subterranean music, Brandon Yahiro-Taylor.
