Join us as we launch Vida's beautiful work in our space for the month of July. A native San Franciscan, Vida was born to an Afro-Cuban father and Jewish American mother. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Oberlin College. Vida was a featured artist in the "nasty Women Oakland Exhibition' at Omi Gallery and has been an artisan vendor at the Oakland Museum of California. Vida currently lives and works in Oakland. Femininty, the subconscious, spirituality, nature and mixed race identity are themes explored in Vida's work.
