Unique Derique

When: Tue., Feb. 19, 6:30 p.m. 2008

He has toured the world and appeared on TheArsenio Hall Show -- and whether he's performing a 21st-century hambone in his musical body suit, performing in a "sym-funny," or riding a six-foot-high unicycle, the East Bay's own Unique Derique is the kind of clown that not only won't scare kids but might even make them want to join the circus. At Kensington Library (61 Arlington Ave., Kensington) on Tuesday, Feb. 19, Derique celebrates African American History month with a program of comedy, magic, and African-American history. 6:30 p.m. CCCLibrary.org
