In the rare food event that’s designed to appeal to boozehounds and diners with dietary restrictions, the pop-up dinner maestros known as S+S Gastro Grub are throwing a gluten-free paella party on Thursday, and each of the three courses will be paired with a hard cider from Crooked City Cider — including a satsuma cider flavor that the Oakland-based company will be debuting that night. The three courses will include an octopus terrine amuse, a Thai red curry seafood paella, and a satsuma flan. Tickets, which are available via BrownPaperTickets.com, will cover the cost of the cider, but guests are also welcome to BYOB. (Ages 21 and up only!) The exact location of the dinner will be emailed to you 24 hours before the event.
