Tugboat Accident Crew Fired for Booze

So last week's tugboat accident, in which a boat rammed into a gas pipeline near Martinez, didn't turn out to be as bad as everyone first thought. At first, officials estimated that hundreds of gallons of gas spilled into the bay; now it looks as if just trace amounts of gas trickled into the water. Nonetheless, three of the boat's crew were fired after two tested positive for alcohol, and one refused to cooperate with the test. Lesson for today, kids: Never drink and pilot boats around gasoline pipelines.
