The Vagina Monologues

When: Fri., Feb. 22, 8 p.m. and Sun., Feb. 24, 3 p.m. 2008

Long gone are the days when adolescents had to content themselves theatrically with having the ribaldry in Romeo and Juliet explained to them. Now teens can enjoy some frank talk about their bits instead. In what has become a "V-Day" tradition over the last half-dozen years, Berkeley High students are once again performing Eve Ensler's self-explanatory play The Vagina Monologues, in which different women talk about various aspects of that particular part of their anatomy in vignettes from "My Angry Vagina" to "The Little CoochieSnorcher That Could." February 22 and 24 at Ashby Stage (1901 Ashby Ave., Berkeley) or 510-841-6500.
