The City of Oakland's Office of Parks and Recreation is celebrating its 100th anniversary, and they're throwing a huge party on Saturday, July 25, at deFremeryPark (1651 Adeline St., Oakland) to celebrate. Watch skateboarding, tennis, and baseball tournaments, or sign up for three-on-three basketball. There will be a city-wide swim meet at 9 a.m. and free access to the public pool. Other attractions include aerial displays, acrobatics, clowning, and face painting presented by Circus Bella and Prescott Clowns. 11 a.m.-6 p.m., free. OaklandNet.com/parks
