The Marsh Berkeley Presents: East 14th

When: Saturdays, 5-7 p.m. and Sundays, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Continues through June 4 2017

The Marsh announces, the 2016 Theatre Bay Area Award winner for “Outstanding Presentation of a Solo Production,” East 14th by comedian Don Reed will transfer to The Marsh Berkeley with performances Apr. 22–June 4. Reed’s acclaimed autobiographical hit invites audiences to 1970s Oakland when Reed tried to resist the evangelical recruiting by his Jehovah’s Witness stepfather. All Reed wanted was to be just like dear old Dad, not knowing Dad was a pimp. East 14th is the first installment in Reed’s hilarious coming-of-age trilogy and includes elements of the unforgettable story “I Miss Toni” that was featured on NPR.
