When: Wed., Feb. 10, 4 p.m. 2010

Meyers, who teaches North Korean literature in South Korea and delivers a lecture titled "The Cleanest Race" at the Institute of East Asian Studies (2223 Fulton St., Berkeley) on Wednesday, Feb. 10. Meyers, the author of A Reader's Manifesto, uses romance novels, films, and posters to illustrate his thesis. 4 p.m., free. IEAS.Berkeley.edu
