Direct from pastoral Virginia, a company of internationally recognized and emerging artists performs Benjamin Britten's first chamber opera, The Rape of Lucretia(Mar. 24 and 25), followed by the comedic chamber opera, Albert Herring (Mar. 26 and 27), with soprano Nancy Gustaffson as Lady Billows. Don't miss the pre-performance talk by Dr. John Evans, author of many works on Britten (Mar. 24-26, at 7 p.m.).
