Interface Gallery is pleased to present the first solo exhibition of works on paper by Maria Guzmán Capron. Guzmán Capron is best known for her large, expressive, textile-based wall hangings and sculptures. However, like most artists, in addition to her "primary practice,” she often sketches and paints on a smaller, more intimate scale. Like much of Guzmán Capron's work, the pieces presented in this exhibition explore female sexuality and subjectivity, merging female, animal and alien personas.
