Terry Riley
L@TE: Friday Nights @ BAM/PFA

Fri., Sept. 30 2011
Living legend Terry Riley returns to BAM/PFA in a rare solo concert on piano and synthesizer. Best known as the godfather of minimalist music, Riley's performances encompass North Indian classical music, American jazz, and a particular strain of musical experimentalism that is uniquely Californian.

Feel free to bring pillows or blankets so you can stretch out on the gallery floor or on BAMscape and enjoy the reverberations.
Programmed by Sarah Cahill.
