Snafu Test

When: Thu., May 10, 9 p.m. 2012

At first glance, the name "Snafu Test" might sound like any other deliberately obtuse, proper-noun heavy band name, but put in context, it's actually about as literal as it gets: It's not actually a band, for one, but a series of musical experiments wherein a group of musicians come together for a completely improvised, totally ad-hoc performance.  This iteration of the popular series will feature members of Whiskerman, Sun Hop Fat, Battlehooch, Oakland Folkharmonic, Harry and the Hitmen, Ash Reiter, plus several other local acts, all of whom will come together in delicious cacophony on Thursday, May 10 at The Starry Plough Pub (3101 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley). Snafu or not, it'll certainly be fun to see how it all turns out. 9 p.m., $8-$12 sliding scale.

Price: $8-$12
