Sex Tape

Rated R 94 minutes 2014

A suburban husband and wife (Jason Segel, Cameron Diaz), frustrated by lack of sex after years of marriage and two young children, get the bright idea to make a three-hour video of themselves having sex on the living room floor. Then, in one of those accidents that only seem to happen in R-rated bodily-function comedies released in the month of July, the video gets uploaded to the internet by mistake, and they must try to stop the world from seeing it. Guess what happens next. If you saw Bad Teacher, which also starred Diaz and Segel under the direction of Jake Kasdan, you’ve got a pretty good idea already. If not, skip it. A fake-daring sex comedy that doesn’t trust its worst instincts, written by Segel, Kate Angelo, and Nicholas Stoller (90 min.).
