When: Tue., May 28, 7-9 p.m. 2019
This Tuesday, head to Sláinte in the Jack London district for a Scotch and cheese tasting. It’s like a miniature version of the Irish pub’s beloved whisky dinners, reflecting the pub’s Scottish and Irish heritages. Guests will have the opportunity to taste four different vintages of GlenDronach Scotch, each paired with a delicious cheese. A representative from GlenDronach will be on hand to educate guests about each variety of Scotch. GlenDronach is one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland, established in 1826. Its Highland style whisky is matured in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks from Andalucía, Spain, which give the whisky rich, complex flavor profiles.
