Apparently, negotiating to end the worst budget crisis in California history isn't all that hard. Apparently, the governor has a lot of time on his hands. Because he still has enough time and resources to sue the state controller to force him to cut the pay of state employees down to the federal minimum wage of $6.55 an hour. That's what he and his lawyers are doing instead of working around the clock to resolve the budget and put in place long-term strategies to make sure this never happens again. Everyone who voted to recall Gray Davis should stand up, look us in the eye, and take credit for letting this man loose upon our lives.
