Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes Event

On the 65th anniversary of the bombing of Nagasaki, the Berkeley Public Library's Central Branch (2090 Kittredge St., Berkeley) hosts a Peace Day commemoration based on Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes, Eleanor Coerr's classic 1977 book about a dying Hiroshima schoolgirl.
