Preview of the November 2010 Ballot Measures

When: Tue., Oct. 5, 6-8 p.m. 2010

With over twenty state and local elections and fifteen propositions on Oakland's ballot this November, not to mention a new voting system, if you're not just a little overwhelmed, you're not paying attention. The League of Women Voters aims to eliminate some of the confusion at its fall kick-off meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 5, which will feature nonpartisan presentations of the November ballot measures, as well as an overview of the nuts and bolts of ranked-choice voting, at Oakland City Hall (One Frank Ogawa Plaza, Oakland). 6-8 p.m., free.
