French parody of James-Bond-era spy flicks has modest fun with a closeted gay secret agent (Jean Dujardin) sent to Egypt in 1955 to thwart the Russians and Islamists, tussle half-heartedly with the local women (Bérénice Béjo, Aure Atika), and maintain a poultry business. The politically incorrect jokes pile up - at one point, he leaves his hotel room to punch a noisy muezzin for making so much noise with his morning call to prayer. The antiqued direction is by Michel Hazanavicius, from a screenplay by Jean-François Halin (99 min.).
