Oakland Mayor to Spend Election Night in West Bay

Jerry Brown will be celebrating his inevitable election as the state's attorney general in ... the friggin' San Francisco?!?!?! Why, Jerry, why? You found Oakland good enough to spend the evening of the June primary at the Oakland police union's HQ. Why not now? Brown campaign manager Ace Smith says the mayor chose to spend the night at the Delancey Street Restaurant because that's where the Democratic victory party is. At least Brown will cast his vote in Oakland, where the mayor is rumored to be living.
