The Berkeley branch of a San Francisco staple with 10 Bay Area locations still looks like the House of Pancakes it used to be. Standard sauces and toppings come thick and fast on toothsome wheels of crust, as do more daring ones such as chicken-pesto tomato sauce and the ever-controversial clam-garlic sauce. Vegetarian pizzas are Greek-style, topped with pesto, feta, spinach, and onions. Watch out for that lake of cheese on top, though.
