Neurobhavana: Cultivating the End of the Causes of Craving

When: Wed., Feb. 18, 7-9:30 p.m. 2015

The Buddha explored the mental causes of suffering and happiness. This talk will explore how the mind changes the brain, for better or worse; our basic needs for safety, satisfaction, and connection; the brain’s activation of craving, broadly defined, when we feel that one or more of these needs is not met; how to hardwire the experience of basic needs met into the brain so there is less and less basis for craving.
