Nature Detectives is a program for 3 to 5 year old children and their caregivers, designed to inspire curiosity and imagination by exploring the natural world through hikes, experiments and crafts. It meets on the first Saturday of every month as well as every Friday afternoon. During this tail-end of the bird breeding season, there are still many representatives of our feathered friends making a temporary home of the shoreline. Each week we will focus on a different species, going out to encounter them in their habitat as well as learning about what makes them unique!
