When: Sat., May 20, 2-5 p.m. 2017
Graphic notation is the representation of music using non-traditional symbols, illustrations, photographs and objects. So visually exquisite, some graphic scores can be works of art in and of themselves. In this workshop, Bay Area composer, improviser and sound artist Wayne Grim will teach you how to map musical parameters to visual sources. You don’t need to know anything about composition or music to participate. Turn your art into music!
