Most Electrifying Hoopster

Stephen Curry

The Golden State Warriors would not have made their improbable playoff run this spring were it not for their star point guard, Stephen Curry. Throughout the season, he was one of the best players in the league — and often its most electrifying. During the Warriors' four-games-to-two victory over the Denver Nuggets in round one of the playoffs, Curry was flat-out the best player on the floor. And against the eventual Western Conference champion, San Antonio Spurs, the six-foot-three 25-year-old started out spectacularly before suffering an injury. His 44-point performance in game one of the Spurs series was a night for the ages. The former first-round draft pick was unstoppable, raining down threes, driving past helpless defenders for easy buckets, and dishing out eleven assists to his teammates. The Warriors, with Curry quarterbacking the team, proved they were one of the best in the game. We can't wait for the 2013-14 season to begin.
