At the PiedmontAdultSchool (800 Magnolia Ave., Piedmont) on Saturday, Nov. 20, Rebecca Sibrack of Edible Explorations teaches how to make tortilla soup, cream of poblanochile soup, and white bean soup with shrimp and nopales. She explains the Spanish and French culinary influences that merge with indigenous traditions to create spicy, satisfying, yet often remarkably simple classics.
