Let's Talk About Jewish Literature

Philip Roth's classic 1969 novel Portnoy'sComplaint, whose eponymous narrator has a busy libido and ethical contortions to match, is the topic for the July 26 session of "Let's Talk About It: Jewish Literature," a ten-part reading and discussion series hosted by the Graduate Theological Union professor of Jewish culture Naomi Seidman at Kensington Library (61 Arlington Ave., Kensington). Registration is recommended, but not required. 2 p.m.
