Ladies of Leisure

Wealthy artist Jerry Strong (Ralph Graves) offers a lift to Kay Arnold (Barbara Stanwyck), a weary woman rowing a boat in the river. Despite Kay's confession that she is a call girl, Jerry finds her striking and asks her to pose for him. During the sessions, Jerry's partying best friend, Bill Standish (Lowell Sherman), admires Kay and makes a play for her. Kay declines Bill's invitation to go away with him, having fallen for Jerry -- only to have Jerry's scandalized, stuffy parents intrude.
