Kensington Library Book Club Presents Everyman

When: Mon., Dec. 28, 7 p.m. 2009

Philip Roth's 27th novel Everyman begins when its main character is dead and being buried in a rundown, semi-abandoned cemetery. Through this ad-agency artist's sad eyes, we view his childhood and long life, replete with betrayals and bitterness. At the Kensington Library (61 Arlington Ave., Kensington) on Monday, Dec. 28, the Kensington Library Book Club discusses Everyman after a poetry reading. 7 p.m., free.
