Grammy winning singer-songwriter Kathy Kallick has been tearing up the local bluegrass scene since she first appeared with the Good Ol' Persons, one of the first all-women bluegrass bands. Kallick is a fine picker, expressive singer, great songwriter, and generous bandleader, always giving her cohorts time to shine onstage. Kallick is celebrating the release of her fifteenth album, Between the Hollow & the High-Rise, an album that showcases five brilliant new original tunes. Her current band includes Tom Bekeny on mandolin, bassist Dan Booth, Greg Booth on banjo and Dobro, and fiddler Annie Staninec. Cyndi Harvel & John Howland open.
