Title small-town high-school sexpot (played by 23-year-old Megan Fox) undergoes a bad experience one night and turns into an epigram-spouting demon who seduces and devours teenage boys. No, wait a minute, this entertaining exercise was written by Diablo Cody of Juno fame, so the epigrams are already in place for Jennifer and her mousy best friend Needy (Amanda Seyfried), the one were really supposed to pay attention to. Skimps on the body shots despite its title its really more of a female empowerment yarn than a horror flick, anyway. But it has a definite Carrie vibe. If Stephen King had been a woman who won an Oscar for her first produced screenplay, he would have made up something like this. Fine scene-setting by director Karyn Kusama and crew. Also with Johnny Simmons and the ubiquitous J.K. Simmons (no relation) (102 min.).
