The Department of Theater, Dance and Performance Studies presents Heart of Spain, a musical that tells the story of US citizens who volunteered to fight against fascism in Spain during the Spanish Civil War. The show follows the volunteers across the Atlantic, over the Pyrenees, and into battle as they fight to protect the Spanish Republic from General Francisco Franco’s fascist coup.
