Here's another knife in your guts, dear readers. The East Bay Business Times reports that home sales in the East Bay fell a whopping 38 percent in the twelve-month period ending February. Since home construction and sales has been a key part of the country's economic health, this means bad news for more than the developers that want to build more tract homes on the edge of Brentwood. On the other hand, February was a heckuva lot better than January, when the number of homes sold shrank to just 190.
