Multiple kudos, from Bessie Awards to a Guggenheim Fellowship, haven't distracted choreographer and Cal dance professor Joe Goode from his true work: creating collisions and collages of contemporary dance, imagery, space, and spoken word. This weekend, the finale of the Goode-curated GUSH series at BravaTheaterCenter(2781 24th St., San Francisco) presents his eponymous company in a sampling of repertory favorites and new pieces. The mixed bill includes Wonderboyand Goode's signature 29 Effeminate Gestures, a challenge to masculine stereotypes set to music by Erik Ian Walker, plus a sneak preview of The Rambler, scheduled to premiere in full this June. Described as a reimagining of the timeless journey myth, Rambler brings together Clint Eastwood and Siddhartha and was created in collaboration with puppeteer Basil Twist -- talk about a collision. 8 p.m. $15-$35. 415-641-7657 or Brava.org.
