Fruit Pie Workshop

Nothing says summer like a freshfruit pie: cherry, berry, peach, pineapple, plum -- take your pick, quite literally. Learn how to make them the healthy, have-another-slice way -- low-glycemic, low-carb, and gluten-, dairy-, and sugar-free -- in a fruit pieworkshop at 4th St. Yoga (1809 4th St., Berkeley) on Saturday, July 5. The one-hour course includes demonstrations, recipes, samples, and tips for preparing and eating seasonal foods mindfully. 3 p.m., $30.
