Aw, shucks. Fremont’s NUMMI plant, the only car manufacturing plant on the West Coast, won’t get the new contract to build the Toyota Prius. According to the East Bay Business Times, Toyota has decided to build the next Prius fleet at a facility in Mississippi instead.
