Culinary & Wine,

Food Truck Frenzy: Part Deux

When: Fri., Sept. 16, 5-9 p.m. 2011

Food truck fare isn't the first thing that comes to mind when considering pairing options for fine wines, but Shauna Rosenblum -- the 28-year-old proprietor and head winemaker at Rock Wall Wine Company (2301 Monarch St., Ste. 300, Alameda) -- is redefining the wine-tasting experience with the company's second food truck festival. On Friday, Sept. 16, patrons can partake of new wine offerings and food truck options like Gorilla Pete's hot dogs and Vietnamese-style sandwiches from Hiyaaa!, with freedom to roam about the former Alameda Naval Air Base and inside the 40,000 square foot airplane hangar that now houses the wine company. 5-9 p.m., $5-$10. 415-513-5883 or
