Fengshui has been trendy these last ten years or so among Western home and office designers. But the ancient Chinese system of space arrangement, in which mirrors and houseplants and goldfish allegedly alter prosperity and luck, can be applied not just to the outside world but also to our inner worlds, according to Oakland acupuncturist and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner Maureen Raytis. Her one-hour class at Elephant Pharmacy (1607 Shattuck Ave., Berkeley) on Sunday, Jan. 20 -- titled "FengShui Your Mind and Get Your Buddha On!" -- includes exercises for energy-raising and more. 1 p.m.
