Created using the woodcut-like scratchboard method, Eric Drooker's graphic novels Blood Song and Flood!were wildly popular both underground and aboveground; the latter won a National Book Award. His recent book Slingshot, compiling 32 of his postcards, features favorite Drooker themes such as American cops beating the hell out of people, rebels smashing walls and celebrating May Day, and US tanks rampaging through Manhattan. Meet him at Moe's (2476 Telegraph Ave., Berkeley) on Dec. 1. 7:30 p.m.
