Election 2006: Dems Think Maybe They Can Beat This Pombo Guy
According to the Chronicle, Democratic Party leaders are talking about buying radio and TV ads in California's 11th Congressional District where GOP embattled Congressman Richard Pombo. But as an anti-Pombo blogger notes, while the Republicans have spent around $600,000 attacking McNerney so far, the Democratic Congressional Campaign committee has spent almost nothing yet to return the favor against Pombo (pictured here sucking up to G-Dub). -- Will Harper
