For its 10th annual fundraiser, Rubicon Programs is hosting an event steeped in East Bay flavor and pride. East Bay State of Mind will feature Baratunde Thurston, a futurist comedian, writer, and cultural critic who helped re-launch The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, co-founded Cultivated Wit and the “About Race” podcast, and wrote the New York Times bestseller How To Be Black. The event celebrates hope, justice, and humor for all who love the East Bay.
