East Bay Over Thirty Soccer League

When: Sat., July 17, 10 a.m. 2010

Has World Cup fever broken for you yet? If not, the East Bay Over Thirty Soccer League will be getting its kicks this Saturday, July 17, at Merritt College in Oakland (12500 Campus Dr.), beginning at 10:00 a.m.  The club features men over 30 years of age and women over 21. The league is somewhat relaxed in the sense that there are no referees, and if one team is a player short, a player from the other squad may cross the field and put on the opponent's shirt. Its six teams will all be on the pitch on Saturday, with the final match wrapping up at around 2:30 p.m. In international play, they call them "friendlies." Come see our own very collegial futbol players without having to wait for the next World Cup. Free. EBOTSoccer.com
