Fine artist and musician Michael Foley has been playing guitar in folk, jazz, bluegrass, R&B, hip-hop, and psychedelic hippie bands since he was thirteen years old. He's been a member of the Grateful Beatles and the Oakland Symphony and taught voice and guitar at the Blue Bear School in San Francisco, all the while continuing to paint -- he has an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute -- and play music. The current incarnation of the Michael Foley Trio is exploring the Great American Songbook, playing classic blues, country, and pop standards. Foley's latest CD, Fear and Forgiveness, is a collection of his own fine compositions.
