Thin but colorful story of a gnashing, smashing cockney gangster (Jude Law) getting into trouble after being released from prison bears an unfortunate resemblance to any number of Guy Ritchie and imitation-Tarantino flicks, with dopey writing (by director Richard Shepard) and corny acting. Scenery-chewing Law isn’t the only offender – check out Demian Bichir as a crime boss, aka The Most Interesting Man in the World. There’s no escaping the realization this is a bad movie. Also with Richard E. Grant (93 min.).
Director: Richard Shepard
